Our son was diagnosed with a rare congenital heart defect when I was 22 weeks pregnant. He was born two weeks ago and has already had a heart cath and two open heart surgeries. Me and my husband are also living in the Ronald McDonald house in Minneapolis MN. <br />Our heart kids are so special and God has such an amazing plan for their lives. I thought you might be encouraged by our blog as well. She will need heart surgery, and likely has other complications also. Thank you for sharing your story like this. To know we are not the only people going through this is comforting, although I would never wish it on anyone. God has already proved such a source of strength and hope for our family. Praying healing, restoration, strength and stability for sweet Hope. Praying for all of you, too. Praying that her body adjusts well to the Norwood and that she just gets stronger all the time! What a warrior. Also praying that God would wash away all trauma and bring peace to you all. What a journey... Bless you guys. - annie, paul and miles in torontoAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
