Let me share my worst Mama moment - Once when walking our dog, two small children and my littlest in a stroller, I stopped everyone to untangle a leash and in that moment gravity started to pull the stroller away from me (the brake was not completely applied and popped loose). He rolled down the hill faster and faster while I sprinted down the cottage road after him, alternating between screaming my child's name (his giggles turned to hysterical laughter as the stroller picked up speed) and calling out to God and begging for His protection. Thankfully no cars were on the road that day! When the road curved, my baby's stroller raced off the edge and flipped into the forest. Thankfully his 3-point seatbelt held and the frame of the stroller and shape of the brush/dirt he landed on protected him from injury - or was it angel's hands? The only signs of the crash were a mouthful of dirt, a small scratch on his hand, and a sobbing Mama on the verge of heart attack. A humbling moment that clarified how much we need grace and forgiveness on a daily basis... not just the huge stuff.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1620800315071767228.post-85937803238208449162013-03-11T00:57:57.910-06:002013-03-11T00:57:57.910-06:00Dear Amy, You don't know me (I am a friend of...Dear Amy, You don't know me (I am a friend of the Wagner's) but I have been following you for some time. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think of you and your family. I worry when there is no update.

I agree with Laura. Your devotion and love for your daughters is so apparent. When my son was a toddler he got burned badly and after the doctor tended to him, he turned his attention to me. He said "Forgive yourself. Accidents happen" and proceeded to tell me of a misfortune he himself had with his child. Though the guilt lingered, it did help. So I share with you, forgive yourself. Accidents happen. Sadie and Hope are blessed to have you for their mother.

Keeping you all in my prayers <3

Sandihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08056375321720117189noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1620800315071767228.post-29748496661048986392013-03-10T21:30:57.219-06:002013-03-10T21:30:57.219-06:00You're a WONDERFUL mother, and don't let a...You're a WONDERFUL mother, and don't let anyone [Satan!] tell you otherwise. Your love for your babies is clear, and I don't even know you! Sadie will be over it and have it forgotten before you know it.
Praying hard for you guys, and that Hope would tolerate more food!!!Laura Deboerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02609725264995922879noreply@blogger.com
